Make Your Marc

Back to last weekend when I had a few minutes to myself and spend the afternoon wandering Bastille's vintage shops.  If there's one thing I learned from being in Europe, it's the importance of taking full advantage of your time off and enjoying each minute to the fullest.  So that's exactly what I did after a morning of shows in Paris.  I changed out of my tired backstage attire into these culottes and a cozy knit, then slipped into this pair of classic pumps I had reserved for a day like this -- where plenty of walking and an evening rendezvous with good friends was involved.  Then just as I was making plans, I found myself sitting at a corner café, people watching under the purple Parisian sky with a good meal and my own company, enjoying the few hours I had to myself to the fullest. Additionally, this season I've partnered with the brilliant team at Marc Fisher LTD to introduce to you the #MAKEYOURMARC program, which celebrates all the women positively impacting our world. To kick off the program, Marc Fisher has enlisted Karlie Kloss and a group of like-minded women to share their stories.

Each time you use #MAKEYOURMARC on Twitter and Instagram, $1 will be donated to Karlie Kloss' organization, Kode with Karlie and for every purchase of select styles (including the ones I’m wearing), $20 will be donated.  Additionally, you have an opportunity to nominate yourself or someone who inspires you to be awarded funding to support her efforts that are making a difference.  Just click HERE and follow the instructions!

I look forward to hearing your thoughts about this, and stay tuned for more!
