shifting gears

The arrival of a new season always suggests a shift in my accessories wardrobe.  The past month primarily consisted of a rotation of leather backpacks and these loafers -- essential fall accessories that can easily be integrated into any one of my outfits.  My reliance on such leather goods was my lifeline to looking somewhat put together considering the laid-back ensembles that I quickly grew accustomed to thanks to the "backstage life" over the course of fashion month. Now that I've returned to New York and finally getting re-accustomed to my usual wardrobe formalities, it seems that I'm finding a hard time shaking those habits.  I've worked said favorites into a variation of looks and continuing on with my preference of laid back denim and t-shirt options, but hopefully this won't last two long because... well as much as comfort is key, I can't bore you.  So until further updates, I'll be living in similar ensembles.
