More Is More
Purposely took a gratifying hiatus from this so-called digital destination. It's refreshing to step away from this space for a moment to just refocus creatively, hit the reset (refresh?) button even if it feels like it only lasts a minute. You know what I mean? Life outside this space doesn't seem to ever stop and I'm absolutely convinced that the more you're willing to take on, the more life is going to throw at you. Basically, riding this never-ending carousel and I'm okay with that. Anyways, so much has changed in the past few weeks, where do I begin? For starters, my hair is now blue slash green slash gray. Not sure what to cal the color, but let's be honest, Asian hair doesn't quite absorb the color wheel, and in every spectrum of light with every wash, my hair changes. I'm definitely sharing more about the hair care, pastels, and so forth in the coming weeks so STAY TUNED.
As for current location, I'm in Milan! We're preparing for Milan Fashion Week at the moment then rushing off to Paris, so the next few weeks will be all about mastering the art of juggling. Between multiple client brainstorming sessions, bedside blogging, a carbohydrate overload, and backstage at shows, I will be keeping you posted, and hopefully entertained.
You ready?
But before I forget, let's talk outfit: bathrobe-like coats, cropped denim, silver boots. All my favorite things rolled into one. Wore this for Day One at NYFW and didn't feel like changing out of it, ever. Especially since the comfort level exceeded all my expectations. I know there's so much opposition for volume, but there's no real way of avoiding it (outside of endless Ubers and hibernating), so why not embrace it with more? Found this oversized Samuji coat a perfect suitor -- a pair of flared, cropped Rodebjer denim.
