the skirt pant

Giving summer staples one last run with heeled sandals, but definitely keeping this pant skirt around as we settle the cold.  When I first stumbled upon this skirt-pant combination, I found myself at the same shopping crossroads I did years ago during the rise of the harem pant.  Unsure whether this would fall under the category of a fad or favorite, I took the (under $100) plunge anyway and found myself pleasantly surprised.   Comfortable, tailored but not too buttoned up, and just the right amount of detailing.  All essentials to the ideal pant.  Secondly, I should mention that if you're here, you know that I'm a proponent of anything slouchy, so I'm always about sizing up but I'm recommending a true-to-size fit if you're looking for something tailored.
